Tara holds a pharmaceutical degree from London University, with over 16 years experience in various roles across different therapeutic areas in the pharmaceutical industry, ranging from well-established multinational organizations to start up set ups. She started out her career in sales as a medical representative in the UK, and progressed to various roles in Sales, Medial Affairs, Marketing, Business Development and General Management. She has been in  executive level management for the past 6 years, currently based in the MENA region.

Tara has worked in reputable organizations such as IVAX, NAPP, Boehringer Ingelheim, Lundbeck, Merck, Novartis Sandoz and Aspen. With extensive commercial knowledge and expertise in Sales & Marketing promotions, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Affairs, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, Tenders, Legal and HR , among other achievements, she has been responsible for successfully generating business, revenue and profits as well as driving consistent growth across the organizations served. She has been responsible for setting up new regional business offices and departments, coordinating business units, implementing wide-reaching HR initiatives and generating unprecedented profits.

Tara is the President of Lavasta Pharma, who set out with a vision to build a global pharmaceutical entity  specializing in the acquiring and commercialization of niched brands to help meet unmet needs of specific patients. Doing so, by partnering with an entrepreneurial investor who shared the same vision and together they have embarked on a journey to realize their common dream.
